From the Art League of Nassau County, LI, NY:  Elmont artist John Rogers was most prolific during the 1940s to the 1970s. He was a beloved local art instructor, New York Times illustrator and professional artist. Major corporations such as Bethlehem Steel commissioned his works. John was author of Watercolor Simplified, as well as a past president of the Art League.
