This lovely silver basket remains a mystery to us and we don’t have the patience to research the marks. From what I can gather, the marks say: 800 V (a fancy V), perhaps a crescent moon and a 7 and one other mark we cannot read. I have a picture of the marks which you may be able to read. The basket is 11″ wide by 14″ long and since we have other silver which I know is Dutch (origin of my family) I’m guessing that perhaps this basket is as well. It’s unpolished and in perfect condition. The weight is 273 pennyweights (15 oz). Buyer pays shipping.
